So Clearly i have failed at this blogging looking at it the last post was back in April 13 this year and well we are 4 day away from 2026 as of writing this. So whats been going on? To start with i have gotten a new job so i have to travel a fair bit to places i would never have gone to i definitely took my camera with me but there still that part of me that a but insecure when walking about snapping picture, some places like London didn’t get a chance as we was there for a short amount of time but two places like Milan and Edinburgh was there for a good week and a few days off which gave me a chance to pull the camera out.

Hows 2025 gone for me?

So what shots have i been doing this year? A mix of everything you could say from wildlife to landscape and city, as i have said in a past post i am still learning everything, When taking picture of things i have learned not every shot is the same i needed to think okay how can i do this, background, angles, filters and more. So lets go through some of my favorite picture i have taken not all are perfect some are very special to me!

My Top 6 Car Photos in 2025

By no means am i good at cars even more fast ones moving at 200mph, i was luckily enough to go to the British Grand Prix this year and my goal was to get as many shots as i could, i think i came away with a little over 300 photos but as they are moving so fast getting it focused and clean took but as i expect that was not the case.

It was a buys weekend so trying to get a good spot on the Saturday was hard however Sunday i had Grandstand seating meaning a good view of the track in my seat for over an hour camera out tripod set and this is my top 6 shots. Yes 6 not 5 it was hard picking what to use.

Now i have been to many city’s on holiday and traveling with work, what i love about these 5 is the culture is so far from each other the roads the building trying to find a spot for a good angle with background, out of all the things to take picture of this is my favorite and of course we have to put a drone shot in there, the best shots you can take from the air! 

My Top 5 Astrophotography Shots for 2025

One of my favorite thing to do is take pictures of space, A big goal of mine to try get a clear picture of every planet in our solar system, sadly i have only gotten mars and Neptune that looks like a red and blue dot but that red and blue dot for me is one of my personal best photos i have taken because i know that is a planet in space. Some of my tops one is the moon, the starts with my first attempt at star trails

Finally my top 5 Landscape for 2025

So i have been on many outings down trails in woodland one of my favorite trails to walk down is a spot where there is a river flowing with waterfalls it was hard picking 5 from all of the one i have got saved and edited so i may throw in a bonus 6 picture

And with that 2025 is done, for me the year has been the best so far as mentioned i didn't get a many photos or much time out as i wanted to but i am sure 2026 will be better.

So what will 2026 bring?

As said i want to use my camera more get a million more photos improve on everything master all the camera setting improve my photo editing and post more on my website. I can see it being a challenging year but im happy nothing is easy so with that thank you 2025 see you in 2026 Happy new year!
